It is owned by former Secretary of State Katherine Harris and her Swedish businessman husband Anders Ebbeson. Katherine is the granddaughter of Ben Hill Griffin Jr, a citrus and cattle mogul. In 1989, the year before his death, he was ranked 261st on the Forbes 400 list of richest Americans.
Katherine and her husband modeled the home after the Rodin House in Paris, France. It was as designed by Thorning Little of Sarasota and Shutler Architects of Virginia. It features approximately 23,000 square feet of living space with 18,000 of that being air conditioned. It boasts 11 bathrooms.
