Wow! Could the unimaginable just have happened? The most expensive home in America has been sold! The 57,000 square foot mega mansion, located in Holmby Hills, CA, was built by the late Aaron Spelling and was put on the market by his widow Candy back in 2009 for a whopping $150 million. Well, the behemoth of a home is now in contract to be sold to Petra Eccelstone, the 22-year-old heiress daughter of billionaire Formula One racing boss Bernard Ecclestone for an undisclosed amount. Sources say her first offer was for $75 million, but I don’t know if that was the final selling price. She is said to be splitting her time between London and Los Angeles after her wedding to entrepreneur James Stunt. If you don’t already know, Petra owns has a six-story house in London’s Chelsea neighborhood purchased for £56 million ($90.9 million). So, I guess buying a house with that large of a price tag isn’t all that foreign to her, or should I say her father.
