It was built by Steven Bramley Construction and is valued at at $7.4 million. It boasts 7 bedrooms, bowling alley and a subterranean garage.

Here is a 9 minute long video tour of the Stone Mansion estate located in Alpine, NJ. It is by far my favorite home of all time! It is currently on the market for a whopping $56 million. I think that the home has been marketed quite well so far. It has its own website, floor plans and numerous video tours. Now I just need to take a tour of it myself!

I thought I’d share this video with you guys even though the home is no longer on the market. The roughly 23,549 square foot mega mansion is located at 16 Star Lane in the prestigious Magnolia Pointe section of South Barrington, IL. It was built in 2005 and boasts 14,549 square feet of living space on 2 floors plus 9,000 square feet of living space in the finished basement. The home, dubbed Zitella Palace was built over 2 years by legendary Chicago home builder Sam Zitella. His wife, Fran, is the one giving the tour. It was on the market back in February of last year with an asking price of $5,500,000. However, it is no longer on the market as of now.

Here is a video tour of the massive 72,000 square foot mega mansion, dubbed Pensmore, located in Highlandville, MO. Once completed, it will reportedly be the 4th largest occupied home in the country.

This amazing estate, dubbed Whispering Rock, is located on the 24-acre Shelter Island of Montana’s Flathead Lake. There is a 24,000 square foot main house and a 4,500 square foot guest house. The exterior is made of Indiana Limestone and the interior millwork features African-sawn Mahogany, Italian Marble and Portuguese Limestone. It is listed at $105,000,000.

The last time we talked about the well-known Updown Court estate, it was heaved back onto the market in June of this year with a price tag of £75,000,000 or $123,120,000.  After being on and off market for 6 long years, with a listing high of $143.5 million, it now has a new price tag…..$65,000,000. That’s right. The 50,000 square foot mega estate can be yours for just $65 million, which some might consider a bargain. The lavish estate is located in the Surrey village of Windlesham in the United Kingdom, which is about an hour away from London. It is situated on 58 acres of land and has a $6 million marble heated driveway and a total of 103 rooms which include 24 bedrooms each with their own marble bathroom, two lane bowling alley, five swimming pools, squash court, tennis court, wine cellar, 50 seat home theater and it’s own panic room.

MTV has a new show out called “Extreme Cribs”. It introduces you to people who have taken unconventional living to a whole new level. On this episode, we are given a tour of the “Copper Palace”, a futuristic house owned by Barbi Benton (former playmate) and her developer husband George Gradow. It is located on Starwood Drive in Aspen, CO. Comprising five copper pods connected by stairways, the 25,000-square-foot building is cantilevered in sections to provide views from all areas of the house. Each pod has its own function: The living and entertaining pod, for example, has both a disco and a ballroom. Other features include a gym, a theater and two heated lap pools. The house, which is set on 40 acres in, was designed by architect Bart Prince. They put the home on the market back in 2001 with a price tag of $25,000,000. 

Here is an aerial view of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s $20 million, 22,000 square foot mega mansion which is under construction in Brentwood, CA. Looks pretty sweet so far!

In the 1980s, Roxanne Pulitzer’s bitter divorce from an heir to the Pulitzer publishing fortune made her the subject of headline-grabbing accusations ranging from cocaine use to occult rituals, all set in the wealthy enclave of Palm Beach, Fla.

Three decades and a few husbands later, Ms. Pulitzer, 60, appears to enjoy a quieter life today, though she said she does enjoy sleeping in late and drinking wine in the afternoon. She and her fifth husband, Tim Boberg, have focused lots of energy, and money, on their 23,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom home, set on 3½ acres overlooking the San Miguel Mountains. Decorated in a style that’s best described as log-mountain-lodge-meets-Palm Beach, the house has a bowling alley, an indoor shooting range, a putting green, an indoor lap pool and a waterfall. There’s also a replica of a labyrinth in Chartres, France, 45 feet in diameter.

After adding nearly every amenity they could think of, Ms. Pulitzer and Mr. Boberg, a 64-year-old retired co-founder of a large management consulting firm, said they’ve run out of house projects. So they’ve decided to sell, putting their house on the market earlier this year for $19.9 million, making it one of the most expensive listings in this remote mountain community.

Barney from Grosse Pointe Michigan here, with a TRULY magnificent, historical video treat for you guys. ESPECIALLY those of you who might very mistakenly STILL think that all of southeastern Michigan is nothing but one huuuge, extended ghetto from Detroit. Please see below four videos….the first three were from a very well done 1/2 hr. local show, filmed in 1971 on the ONE AND ONLY, irreplaceable Grosse Pointe, lakefront mansion called “Rose Terrace”.  This show was produced after the owner, Anna Dodge, died in 1970, and it will TRULY TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY, and blow your minds to smithereens.  The fourth vid is a fantastic collection of pics of Rose Terrace, and lists, correctly, all the major and astonishing architectural, construction, design (both interior & exterior) facts and UNBELIEVABLE & priceless masterpieces of art that the chateau was filled with.  I’ve been obsessed with this impeccable estate (which was tragically torn down in 1976) since I was a child (I’m 49 now) and I have a couple of personal connections to it.  I was in it as a kid with my deceased Mom (and don’t, VERY unfortunately remember) and my oldest, deceased Aunt work tirelessly to try & preserve it.  She also created huge, gorgeous flower arrangements for an unforgettable dinner dance, the night before the house was torn down.

FEAST YOUR EYES & EARS, My Friends!
