Location: 18 Carlton House Terrace, London, England

Square Footage: 50,000

Bedrooms & Bathrooms: N/A

Price: £250,000,000

This massive home is located at 18 Carlton House Terrace in London, England. It is said to be owned by a Saudi royal who will not allow updated pictures to be taken of the home. The 6-story Grade I listed Regency mansion features approximately 50,000 square feet of living space. The last two pics were taken in the 1890′s and shows a grand y-shaped double staircase. It is secretly on the market for a whopping £250,000,000 or $381,275,000. So not only is it one of the largest private residences in London, but it will also be the most expensive if it ever sold for that much money.

St Saviours is a church that was converted into an opulent mansion. It was originally designed by Belgrave Square architect George Basevi in 1838. The Diocese of London sold most of St Saviours a while back for about £1 million. After that, only a smal section of the church was still used for worship. The rest was bought by developers who turned it into a 4-story home that was owned for six years by Les Misérables and Miss Saigon writer Alain Boublil. He sold it for £13.5 million in 2009 to a Thai businessman who commissioned a second makeover costing an estimated £10 million and lasting almost three years.

It features approximately 11,500 square feet of living space with 7 bedrooms, bronze and glass elevator, spiral stone staircase, open concept living/dining area with 42 foot vaulted ceiling, gym, home theater, juice bar, glass enclosed spa with sauna and steam room and a 30 foot indoor pool with hot tub.

The house isn’t officially on the market, but sources say it could easily fetch £50,000,000.

Holwood House is a historic mansion located in London. It was painstakingly renovated over a 3 year period by the current owner. It features approximately 24,940 square feet of living space with 9 bedrooms, beautiful Clive Christian gourmet kitchen, home theater, billiards room and more. The expansive grounds feature manicured lawns and a tennis court.

This is a fantastic home. I love everything about it, especially the kitchen. Clive Christian is one of the best kitchen designers around. I’m curious as to what other amenities the house offers. I’m thinking it also has indoor swimming pool; as most London mansions do.

Back in October of last year we did a post on this exclusive mansion located at One Cornwall Terrace in London, England. It was listed at a whopping $160 million and recently sold for £80 million, or just under $120 million, to a property tycoon. It is accessed via a carriage driveway with two gated entrances and is situated on an half acre of land. It was originally designed and built in 1821-3 by renowned architect Decimus Burton, supervised by John Nash who created the master plan for the Regent’s Park. It has been masterfully restored and features approximately 21,500 square feet of living space with 11 reception rooms (including formal living and dining rooms), 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, gourmet kitchen with beautiful vaulted skylight, self-contained apartment wit kitchen, massage room, gym, sauna, indoor swimming pool, catering kitchen, 2-car garage, landscaped grounds with formal gardens and more.
