I GENERALLY DO NOT LIKE MODERN LOOKING HOMES, BUT I AM JUST BLOWN AWAY BY THIS ONE. THIS IS MODERN WITH CLASS STYLE AND REALLY DOES SEND A MESSAGE, ‘I AM THE PRETTIEST KID ON THE BLOCK’. I WOULD CHANGE THE PURPLE TO BLUE AND PEACH, AND YELLOW. I WOULD ALSO ADD SOME BRASS. NEVERTHELESS THIS ONE IS A STUNNER!!!

I agree that the CGI rendering makes this property look stunning, but take a look at Bing’s bird’s eye view of the place: boring, boring, boring. All the privacy trees make the place feel claustrophobic. And it’s shoe-horned into such a small lot! You aren’t paying for the house…you’re just paying for the privilege of saying you live in Beverly Hills.

In this mansion’s favor: the paving stones or plates or whatever they are on the walkways and driveways are gorgeous. The marble floors are great. The absence of wood floors and popsicle stick ceilings is such a relief. The lack of pop-art blown up photos of dead stars, and vast canvases of spilled paint that insult so many walls in so many contemporary decors is refreshing. As is the lack of a stupid-little-round-table-with-a-flower-pot-on-it in the foyer.
Just one little nitpick – $33 million !!! Kidding me? For what? There’s only 9663 square feet, and a guest house on a crummy little 2/3 acre site. 6 years ago, it was listed at almost $13 million, and finally sold at just over $10 million. It might be worth that $13 million today, but the current asking price is insane. Unless the seller finds a moron with more money than brains, I see this going for half the asking price – at most.
