Almost $40 million dollars (American) for less than 8K sq. ft. on a whole half an acre. There’s nothing in Aspen worth that. And this home couldn’t come with much less – no loggia, no pool (indoors or out), all you get is a deck and a spa. Charging ‘yuge’ bucks for homes done in the contemporary style is the biggest scam in real estate. These modern homes are so simple in design – no curves, no domes, no arches or vaults, no complex paneling, no ornamentation – nothing seriously expensive – just glass, sheetrock, faux veneers, and tongue-depressor planking – all dressed up with colored light bulbs – even a caveman could do it. This turkey is priced easily 10 times its worth – many times its actual cost of construction. It’s a windfall-profit monster if the seller gets even half what he’s asking.

This is Aspen. There is no need for a loggia or an outdoor pool. Anyone buying this house is getting a ski vacation home. The price…well its Aspen. And the design is really cool. Just because it is not to your taste, doesn’t mean its cheap. You are very pretentious.

I gotta go with horselips on this one….Aspen, Shmaspen….this place would be overpriced in Bel Air, California, or the heart of London, UK. And an indoor pool WOULD be a good addition. And please don’t be impolite by labeling people.

Look at the size of the house and the lot…. WAY over priced, and the place looks like a small convention center. Not a family home.
