A grand mansion at an enticing price for all you get. And your kids are safe here, far from the pervs and pedos of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, from the hurricanes of Florida, and from the progressive liberals of New England. I like the Great Room, it’s literally a great room, with really great windows – not just a slightly widened alcove off the entry hall like so many others. Big, quiet, very private lot. Stone flooring. Elevator. Outdoor facilities. No pool, but who cares – you got the lake and your own private pond to splash and paddle around in. And if you wanna pool, you’ve got lots of room to play with.

This home is impressive. I feel like it could use some improvements to reflect its location and increase its relaxed, sophisticated feel. The home is definitely outdated, but I could see the potential it has with thoughtful interior redesign. My favorite room was certainly the great room with its tall ceilings and built-ins. Looks so great! Best part are those massive windows that offer look out to the lake. A nice soft, scheme of dusty blue, creams, taupes would elevate the living room dramatically. I would propose all floors to be refinished and for all iron rails to be replaced to an updated version. The kitchen is the heart of them home and I love the drop-down ceiling detail in there, but the cabinets do not reflect the grander of the space. Would be nice of those could be custom made and fitted specifically. Other than cosmetic changes like repainting, hardware changes and a better furniture scheme, this home has loads going for it.
