The stone appears decorative, not structural, as for the shingle, what could be cheaper besides clapboard wood siding? BTW, there’s plenty of that here too. This is just a very cheaply constructed big ol’ house, not even close to being a mansion in size, nature or content, plopped on a middle-class tract-house lot, and priced out of this world. It has been said a fool and his money are soon parted, alas, I had higher expectations for the rich.

The “stone” is indeed lick-and-stick, partly used to hide the cement foundations. There are dozens upon dozens of houses just like this that have popped up in Seattle’s eastside communities over the last few years that are nothing more than variations on a theme, and they’re all terrible. The layouts are usually less than ideal and the materials are mediocre at best. But, because they have a Bellevue zip code, the builders can almost double the prices.
