LOOK at the floor plan. The Master Bath is shared with a secondary bedroom. Two other secondary bedrooms must share a Jack-n-Jill bath, and only one of the secondary bedrooms has anything like a closet. One appears to have 2 very small ‘wardrobes.’ The staff bedrooms are less than 9 feet wide, one is less than 7 feet wide. The help might as well spend their nights in jail (well, staff are just ‘little people’ anyway). The breakfast room is practically a cave, lit only by a very small window in a recessed corner. There are no outdoor facilities, no patios, not even a balcony. Forget getting a breath of fresh air, enjoying a hot tub, a BBQ, taking in the view or just relaxing in a hammock on a nice evening. Forget also setting aside a small area outdoors for a dog run. (After all, pets are for the ‘little people.’)
The apartment’s public rooms are quite nice – great paneling, flooring and other embellishments, but it’s still just a gilded cage. The listing makes no mention of parking facilities (the folks who can afford this thing would never dream of owning a car – driving is for the ‘little people’) so the obvious conclusion is that there’s not much to offer in that regard.
To reside in this nightmarish hell-hole is to merely exist, not to live. The 11th floor of this castle is a medieval keep, it’s an above-ground dungeon. Bottom Line – Just another crummy apartment, crummier than most.
