I love the fireplace in the living room. As for the mirror sitting on the mantle, either hang the goddam thing up or take it down.

Has it ever occurred to you; oh expert on all things real estate, that maybe the designer or owner wants it that way? You’d think after seeing mirrors this way, post after endless post, that you would get it.

FIRST, I am no expert and never claimed to be. I am merely an arrogant, self-absorbed, opinionated critic, with no credentials except my druthers. In all things regarding the nuts and bolts of the real estate biz, I humbly defer to you and all my other betters.
SECOND, Of course the owner wants his mirror that way. Why else would it be that way? Certainly the owner of this multi-million dollar building can have just about anything he wants, any way he wants it.
THIRD, it is in our nature as featherless bipeds to form opinions, positively, negatively, or indifferently, on everything we encounter, whether it be animal, vegetable or mineral. And for better or worse, as you have formed an opinion on me, I have formed an opinion on leaving pictures and mirrors on the floor or mantle, and just leaning them against the wall instead of hanging them up.

Beautiful exterior and pool area. The rest is just blah. That might be the worst attempt at a theater room i’ve ever seen. Not sure what they were thinking there.
