That’s the problem with high-demand real estate – the builders can put up a truly crummy, bargain-basement house like this P.O.S. and some moron will buy it anyway just because of where it is.
Yogi Berra was once asked about a popular restaurant, and he replied, “nobody goes there – it’s too busy.” I feel the same way about “location-location-location.” Caving to a high price based solely on feverish emotion is ultimately unwise – when the market settles down, you’re hurt, when it crashes, you’re killed. Same with cars. Often, a new model will be in such high demand that sleazy, corrupt dealerships will amend the Monroney sticker with a ‘market adjustment’ upping the price by thousands of dollars. The same idiot who pays above sticker for a car falls for the fleeting value of location-location-location.
Caveat Emptor. Learn to say “No.”

5,000 square foot house for almost 10 million bucks. GTFO, and as if that wasn’t ridiculous enough it’s on a HALF an acre.

You can get a bigger house with more land and some actual class IN ASPEN for the same price or less.

Psychotically overpriced and the house looks like a bunch of recycled shipping containers glued together. All the appeal, style, attractiveness, interest and warmth of cardboard refrigerator packing crates.
