Fortunately for me, I couldn’t care less about a 5th Avenue addy, in fact, living anywhere in Andy Cuomo’s and Bill DeBlasio’s Blue-hell-on-earth is unthinkable. Once you’ve lived in a free Red state, nothing else will do.

Here we have a rather small apartment – just 3 public rooms and a kitchen, not even a breakfast room, game room, home theater or gym. Forget about relaxing in your private spa, or taking a swim in your private pool. No outdoor facilities are mentioned, so forget about having a BBQ or enjoying a nice evening breeze on the patio. Because there ain’t one. Not even a porch or a balcony. No yard for pets, not even a roof garden. The bathrooms are as designed in 1925 and are functionally obsolete – no whirlpools, short vanities, no steam showers or saunas. Naturally, the listing makes no mention of how many parking spaces are included. Aw heck, whataya want for your lousy $29.5 million anyway!

If you’re old and rich, and no longer have anything like a life, this dump provides the perfect lifeless lifestyle for you.

You must be my twin horselips lol. I feel the exact same way. NYC is an overpriced, dreary, socialist hellhole. I’d take a nice estate in Texas, Florida hell even Commiefornia if it’s located in a conservative town (they exist believe it or not) with lots of land and privacy and a nice house.

For close to 30 million dollars forget about it. There are so many better options out there.

Rob, please don’t move to California, Florida, or Texas. I’d suggest you find a time machine and go Germany in the mid 1930’s. You’ll probably fit in a little better.

        Insinuating that I’m a Nazi because I don’t like socialism/communism… how original

What’s even more funny is that nazis were actually socialists… Mein Kampf was heavily based on Karl Marx’s works.

Yes, and if liberals like our friend Tim here had any understanding or knowledge of history they would know that Nazis were not actually called Nazis, they were the National SOCIALISTS. It’s right there in the title. Nazi was more of a nickname and used primarily by the allies.

What’s funny is that the left loves to call conservatives/republicans fascist (even though I bet the average liberal could not define fascism or it’s principals if you offered them 100 bucks) yet get butthurt when they are rightfully accused of being socialists. Newsflash: the left in America is far closer to being socialist than the right is to being fascist. No contest.

Also National Socialist =/= fascist. The Nazis were not even fascist, another thing liberal stooges can’t seem to comprehend.

Well, sadly a lot of american republicans are socialists too, since the neoconservatives were created by ex-communists… they’re are just better at hiding what they are than the “new left”. Fortunately, your new president seems like a real patriot.

No, probably because you people feel the need to start some kind of political hate debate every where you go, and the people in those places don’t need the constant anger over nothing. There was zero call to bring communism and socialism here. I’ve been visiting this site for over 6 years now and all we’ve ever talked about is the property and the market. But oh no. God forbid we can keep it about that. Not with you people.

It’s not as if there are a million websites dedicated to politics and your particular POV where you get to be as hateful and nasty as you want and everyone else will cheer you on. You have to come on here and belittle the residents in those states for no reason than, you’re…conservative and they aren’t?

Anyone who views NYC as a socialist hellhole and calls California Commiefornia shouldn’t be contemplating them as residential options. People like you do nothing but add animosity to communities that don’t need that kind of backward hatefilled rhetoric. This isn’t the 60s. NYC is definitely overpriced, as is California, but they are both thriving, with ever increasing job growth, higher rates of pay, top notch educational systems and a highly diversified workforce. They’ve been at the forefront of innovations for this country for decades. But that’s not what you see. You see people who promote education, fairness and equality as something bad. You see them as people who should be demonized and mocked.

I’m sure there’s some cornfield in a bible belt state where you’ll be happy. And those awful, commie New Yorkers will be working to pay the taxes needed to subsidize that cornfield. Shoot them all.
