Billionaire businessman Tom Gores (worth $3.3 billion) has just purchased a Los Angeles mega mansion for a whopping $100 million. This makes it the 2nd $100 million sale in LA after The Playboy mansion sold for the same amount back in August. The newly built ultra-modern home came on the market in April with a price tag of $150 million.

Loocated at 301 North Carolwood Drive in Los Angeles, CA, the estate is situated on 2.1 acres of land and boasts a main house and guest houses. It was built by developer Gala Asher of Dream Projects LA and features a total of 38,000 square feet of living space with 10 bedrooms (5300 square foot master suite) 20 bathrooms, indoor lap pool, hair salon, spa, home theater, wine cellar, 10-car garage and much more.

Outdoor features include a gated entrance, patios, fire pits and an infinity edge swimming pool.

I wonder if Gala Asher really took a $50 million hit on the sale, or was $100 million all the seller really expected to get.

The guy’s firm is located in Beverly Hills, so it makes sense for him to buy a home there really. I personally don’t like this mansion at all, but who cares… Maybe the Nile Niami’s mega-mansion too will be purchased by an american billionaire, and not by a foreigner after all.
