Kenny, the vast majority of homes on your great site absolutely demand that you rename it “Absurdly-oversized-gargantuan-monstrosity-warehouses-masquerading-pathetically-as-homes-of-the-rich”! Calling this psychotically egomaniacal airport sized building a home is worse than calling the Starship Enterprise a balsa wood airplane glider.

    • horselips

It appears you have no comprehension of the class system, or any appreciation for the lifestyles and social obligations of your betters. Your comparison between the USS Enterprise and a balsa wood glider reflects perfectly the gaping chasm between you and the buyer of this mansion. Maybe one day you’ll win a lottery, or all your relatives will die in the right order and … oh never mind … even then you still wouldn’t understand.

        ?!?!

NONE of these people who own or build warehouses like this are my “betters”, thank you very much and I highly resent your insulting & condescending words. And “you have no comprehension or appreciation for the lifestyles and social obligations” is laughable at best and sounds like you consider yourself a billionaire or are a “wanna’ be” in the worst way. In addition, what you casually call the “class system” is the hideous emergence of a plutocracy and mind-boggling structures such as this are irrefutable examples of it. Also, your laughable fantasy of hitting the lottery or your next unfinished delusion are just that. See my response above to Bill N for further truth. No one, repeat no one needs a 50,000 square foot “home” to have a “lifestyle” or fulfill “social obligations” and while no one has control over anyone with the money and insanity to build or live in one, anyone with a brain can say so, repeatedly, as often as they want……but then again, I’m sure YOU wouldn’t understand.

EXCUSE YOU, but none, repeat none of the people who build and/or actually live in these monstrosities are my “betters” in any way, shape or form and I highly resent your condescending and pretentious insult. Also the “you have no comprehension of the class system, or any appreciation for the lifestyles and social obligations” snide remark is proof positive of your truly breathtaking arrogance and embodying a “wanna’ be” in the worst possible way. Your comment about the “class system” is code for the plutocracy that is now the United States and too much of the world. The only fictitious “lifestyles and social obligations” that are supposedly required by multi-million and billionaires are the last thing that a 50,000 square foot “home” is needed for as it is an intractable fever dream of greed and ego run amok. Your further fantasy about the winning the lottery or the unfinished delusion about my relatives dying would have no effect on the true designation of this monstrosity. Anyone with one iota of true understated taste, class and human scale self-esteem wouldn’t be caught dead in a shopping mall masqeurading as a single family home. Though I’m sure YOU are incapable of ever understanding that.

Your proletarian rant makes all my points, thank you very much, I rest my case.

And your societal & financial bigotry is blatantly sycophant in nature and makes all my points, thank you very much, I rest my case.

        • Stove

All the bickering aside the bottom line is, this guy is definitely rich, and like it or not this is his home. Soooo this is site us the PERFECT place to display it.

          • Green Eyed Warlock

I don’t disagree with you, Stove, however that also means that I can post any comment I want on any house here.

    • Bill_N

Sorry you feel that way, GEW, but absurdly-oversized-gargantuan-monstrosity-warehouses-masquerading-pathetically-as-homes-of-the-rich is the very reason why I keep coming back. And I’m sure others feel that way too. If you wanna look at normal-sized homes, go look at the major realty websites.

      • Green Eyed Warlock

I’m glad that you enjoy them Bill N. However I still do enjoy the, ohhhh, let’s say, reasonably sized ones at 15 or 20K square feet if they’re done right. I find structures with their own zip codes like these utterly repugnant and I don’t care one iota if anyone thinks I’m a fanatic liberal or whatever they want to call me. The fact tremains that never in the history of our country (and world) have so few people had so much money and so many people had so little. This gap is a literal financial & social cancer that eats away at the very foundation of our society and palaces such as the one in question are the perfectly inarguable and ghastly manifestations of it. Keep enjoying them and I’ll keep commenting on them like this when I feel like it.

I’m with you! I have no feelings of inadequacy that make me hate those who are doing what we all should be doing so we can own a reward house. (All residences are reward housed…Makes ya stop and think!!)

Kenny. Add the photos I sent to you showing the TWO entrances on different sides of the mountain!

I hope if I ever become wealthy enough to build a mega-mansion that I will build something that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to tell someone that I live in it.
