Yes, it’s an oceanfront lot (what could possibly go wrong?) and it is twelve thousand square feet, and the lovely grounds and romantic elevation, especially the courtyard, are attractive. The interior however falls short. I approve of the all stone flooring, but all the builder did here was take the wood flooring and nail it to the living room, dining room, and master bedroom ceilings. Throw in a few accent beams and P. T. Barnum is right again. The foyer is equally miserable – more of a glorified stair hall than the reception area one would expect in a mansion of this level. The ‘at-a-boys’ are overwhelmed by the ‘aw-sh!ts’.
