Considering it’s designed by Jeff Smith, I expected nothing less. It’s a very beautiful home. The Venetian influences don’t come off as contrived. The interior looks livable, although the original Bunny Williams interior seems to have been replaced by some more informal pieces. As for the price, if it gets anywhere near ask, it’ll likely be a record number for a lakefront property. This is Palm Beach, and the inventory of well built homes on prominent pieces of land is very low.

Classy and elegant. Even at the idiotic listing price, you could do a lot worse.

I suppose it’s okay if you’re some Middle-Eastern oil poobah with way too much money to spend….otherwise….NO THANK YOU!

This might be one of the most thoughtful and elegant floor-plans I’ve seen to date on this site. Everything, and I mean everything, has been well thought out. Second floor master-suite is fussy layout, but I think I can divine the architects and owner’s thinking. Not for the open kitchen, family get together lifestyle; this is true European aristocratic living. So many floor-plans in the ultra exclusive range, keep adding function area upon function area, upon function area. What is absolutely intriguing with this living concept is how the owner an architect have merged elegant living and well-though-out shared living spaces.
    10 out of 10.
