That interior is awful! If I had the money I would buy it, demolish it and build something modernist that fully exploited the incredible views that this location has.

Owning your own mountain is second only to owning your own island. The site is spectacular. This mansion’s style is unique, so you can be sure it wasn’t embellished with pre-fab decorations – the entire construction is obviously the product of top quality materials and superb craftsmanship. But it’s that unique style that I have problems with. Pointed arches can be Gothic, in which case they’re impressive and romantic as they are in the ball room, or they can wreak of Arabesque as they do in the dining room and terrace, which I don’t like at all. Methinks this estate will be lucky to sell at half the asking price.

This is completely remodeled??? Is the source who claims this is completely remodeled smoking CRACK??? This is a tear down. Someone would only buy this for the land, but 2 acres aint worth $135 million. This would at least have to be 5 or 6 acres in the most prime part of Bel Air or Holmby Hills to justify this price. This is a publicity grab!
