6.65 acres and still have to live next to hi-tension wires.

Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. Although all the detail is amazing, a home that costs nearly 5 million should never be placed right next to power lines.

Splendid. The exterior is imposing and powerful ,yet warm and romantic. Feast your eyes on the exquisite cabinetry, ceilings, door, and window framing in the library, home office, billiards room and bar. Savor the columns, pilasters and murals (frescos?) in the great room and dining room. The huge patio, pool house and cabana accommodate outdoor entertaining. The 8 car garage is adequate for a serious estate. It is missing an elevator, but I’m sure 10 minutes with the floor plans and an architect could solve that. And I would have specified another couple of feet of ceiling height throughout, but enough nitpicking. The class and style of this aristocratic mansion is happily out of proportion to its relatively common price.
