Kudos to the decorator for not putting a stupid round-table-with-flower-pot in the foyer, and a baby grand piano under the friggin’ stairs. Sadly, the only high volume areas are the foyer, great room and maybe the billiards room – all the other public rooms are squashed under low ceilings. Even the master bedroom has a very low ceiling. Nice alfresco facilities, beautiful landscaping, and locating the estate 2,600 miles from NY is a good thing, although I can’t say much for California.

Sorry, but a foyer isn’t a foyer without a gorgeous round table beneath a chandelier. But that’s just me. Then again, i doubt that could be considered a foyer, more like a stair hall, since it’s behind the stairs and away from the entrance, so the lack of table is of no issue after all. Hate the living room decor, but pretty much like everything else inside. Something’s off about the front facade. However, they got it right by having a decent size of land (for Cali) and adequate garage spaces. Irritates me to see a mansion with only 3 or 4 garage spaces yet 3 times that number in bedrooms.
