I would have to vote yes on this one. It enjoys the stability of Switzerland while having the character of Italy just across the border. The outside is quirky, but not bizarre, and I like it. I’m not a fan of the front yard pool, but when there’s a steep hill and a road behind the house, what else does one do? The inside is a good example of how to modernize a house while retaining the period charm, and not turn it into a nightclub (I’m looking at you, London). I don’t get the vestigial kitchen island; it should either be three times larger or completely gone. Seeing as I’m not really a leopard print sofa kinda guy, I’d also change some of the furnishings. But, overall I could see being quite happy here.
