Lordy, what’s not to love? (Just one thing.) Imaginative, clever room design, elegant ornamentation, fantastic loggia, facilities to entertain on a grand scale, I could go on and on. Good sized mansion, good sized lot, good sized garage, great location. Finally, an architect with the vision to conceive a plan that fulfills every need and want his client specified at the time, and can also anticipate needs to come, (except one). So, what’s the deal breaker here? No elevator. Thirteen Million Five Hundred Thousand Bucks, American, and they couldn’t spring for a 40K elevator. Ya gottta be kiddin’ me.

Very nice home. What’s not to love? Well, those staid, oppressive, ‘i’m old, grumpy and conservative’ dark wood accents and panels apparently have been trying to squeeze their way in but it seems they have been successfully contained before they ruined the whole house. (Master bedroom needs urgent help, however. What were they thinking slapping these dark arches in the middle of pastel decor?)

Lack of elevator… meh, you’d be suprised how many people are actually capable of walking up one flight of stairs if they put their mind to it… think of the stairs as an extension of the home gym.
