In Australia, ‘river’ means something else than in, say, Europe – for 9 years out of 10 they are a just a trickle of pathetic sludge, but once in a blue moon they suddenly they swell up and flood everything for miles around.
That’s why it is very important that this house is placed relatively high up, hopefully it will remain above the water when Hawkesbury River floods.
By the way, Hawkesbury River is known to harbour sharks, especially bull sharks that don’t seem to mind fresh water and get quite a way upstream. Do they get as far up as Cattai? I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t want to find out!

I want to pay $8,000 lesser than the listed price. Confirm if this is okay by seller.
