So, $85,000,000 plus whatever it will take to restore the house to something tasteful. At least it’s not all beige drywall with MDF mouldings passing for detailing, but it’s a bit much for me. I have to admit that I do like the waterfall chandelier in the foyer.

Headline should read “…Los Angeles HOTEL for $85 million”. Seriously. 17 bedrooms? THIRTY-THREE bathrooms? Obscene. And to top it off, it has god awful interior design. One or two pieces of pop art is nice, but when the whole damn house is filled with it, you might as well call it Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.

Fashion designers should stick to clothes and stay away from mansions. I never even heard of Max Azria, and after examining his $30 million renovation, I don’t think I’ve missed a thing. It will probably take at least another $30 million to undo the damage he’s done to what must have once been an impressive, classic mansion. Now, it’s just a comical caricature, a cartoon. Epic fail., every room, every space, inside and out. In a sane world, this would have to sell at auction for some $ ‘single-digit’ million.

It does have a look of interiors designed by a fashion designer though! It might not be what you and I might want, but perhaps he achieved *his* goals because he managed to stamp his personality on it. You’ve got to respect that… even as you’re calling your own designer to order a complete make-over 🙂

I’ve liked some homes, I’ve disliked others.
I genuinely hate every single thing about this home. Never have I wanted too see a series of objects burn to the ground more than this place. To anyone that had anything to do with its making: Fuck You.

This home is hideous! It looks old and cheap. It looks like he bought an old run down dump and did a cheap renovation. It looks like he expanded it with cheap materials and tacky decor from Spencer’s gift store.

Pff for 85 million i’d much rather bought the old walt disney’s place
