Ha. Delusions of grandeur indeed. First of all, I’m seen swimming pools bigger than the lake this thing backs up to. So there goes a good 70% of the ask out the door. Next, the community looks like your typical West-of-I95 acreage community. Some nice homes, but this thing is completely overbuilt for the area. Lastly, the home, while an admirable attempt, ends up looking like it was carved out of earwax. It just has a gooey feel to it. I’ll applaud the sheer excess of it, but this ends up looking more tacky than dignified. At first glance, it reminded me of Mickey Rourke’s former townhouse in NYC, a property I absolutely love.

The exterior is pretty nice. But the interior is a hot mess. Its too dark and gothic looking in the inside. Almost medieval looking or something. Also I think this home is on a lake or something. I’d prefer ocean frontage. If this was an oceanfront estate with a better interior then it would be an amazing deal. But not sure its worth it with the ugly interior and not so great location.

Zillow has a Zestimate of 3.7 million for this property. Ambitious indeed! LOL!
