    I’m done. I thought that maybe, *maybe* there would be one house in England that hadn’t had the grey, pseudo Candy and Candy design scheme stuffed into it. Even more hope when I saw the exterior and that it was built in 1867. I was wrong.

    In this case I actually wish they’d apply that ‘grey pseudo Candy and Candy’ scheme more consistently, if that’s the look they want – as it is, their use of ‘natural’ wood in the kitchen and wardrobe clashes with the rest of the decor… Oh yeah, and the dining room is just terrible.
    I don’t really like the house itself either, it seems low, dingy and dark. In other words, traditional English architecture, I suppose. Blame that one on its 1867 origin.
