    Whilst #2 is nicer than #3, I don’t understand why, when you’re pursuing a modern aesthetic, you’d use traditional outside balustrading and grid-windows (unless you’re renovating a historical home).

    Number 1 is the only on with both a side-by-side 2 car garage and a ground floor entrance. 3 and 4 have only a single car garage (or a tandem situation), and 2,3 and 4 require you to either climb a flight of stairs to get inside (no matter what you’re carrying), or enter, glamorously, through the garage. No mention of which, if any of these happens to have an elevator.
