Sorry, but I’m not a fan of clapboard siding – it would be better if the entire elevation was brick or stone. Aside from the foyer, bathrooms and basement, the whole thing is wood floored. The walls and ceilings are too white, the flooring is too brown. I don’t see any outdoor facilities – no covered patios, outdoor kitchen, BBQ – anything? But heck, look at the good side – it’s 2 acres of verdant land, 12,000 sq. ft. of space, not in the PRC, IL, NY, NJ, MD, CT, or MA, and only $3,749 million. All things considered, it could be worse. I’ve seen a lot of mansions here that offered a lot less for a helluva lot more.

Wood! Such a difficult thing to get right. Some people hate it on the floors, love it everywhere else. I’m the opposite – love it on the floors, prefer to use it sparingly or not at all otherwise. But definitely, never, under any circumstances on *both* floor and furniture! Still… de-wood that kitchen and bar area and I think it actually could be quite a nice house.
