This newly built Mediterranean style waterfront mansion is located at 325 Leucadendra Drive in the guard-gated Gables Estates in Coral Gables, FL and is situated on 1.3 acres. It was designed by renowned architect Ralph Portuondo and built for Miami developer Sergio Pino. Sergio never finished the home and sold it earlier this year for $8 million. The new owners have now re-listed it.

It features approximately 16,311 square feet of living space with 9 bedrooms and 9 full & 2 half bathrooms.

So the $10 million price increase is because of the Photoshopped grass, right? An extremely strange layout. If not a tear down, then a complete reconfiguration and renovation are necessary.

    No pool. check
    No tennis court. check
    No landscaping. check
Weird design that makes no sense. check

I’ll take it. Right after the $10M price chop.

The footprint looks palatial in design – palaces are always built around courtyards. The builder apparently left landscaping and the pool location up to the buyer – probably either of the two 3 sided “courtyards” would work. But then, it might have an indoor pool as well. We have no interior pics – I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s unfinished, with colors, materials and lighting left up to the buyer. I’m sure that selling price includes allowances for the completion of this newly built mansion to the owner’s discretion.

However, anybody who can afford to drop $18 mil on a house is going to need a lot more than a 4 car garage.
