You might want to better acquaint yourself with modern macroeconomic data. Indeed, Australia has been ranked as the most expensive country in the world vis-a-vis PPP.

Oh no no… The joke I was making was merely the location :P
If I lived IN Australia I’d of course be far more interested.

Personally I do think the property IS a good deal, you are correct about the Gold Coast being pricey.

I want to hate it, but I don’t. That is bad ass. Plus that I’m quite sure more than a few of you will find enough faults; imagined and real, that I don’t need too. I like it.

There is no need to hate it – it’s pretty cool all around. The location is rather remote though, ’30 minutes to Gold Coast’ really means middle of nowhere. Their asking price is not completely crazy but definitely on the optimistic side.

Of all the nice multi-million dollar properties currently on the market in Australia, why did this tacky contraption get selected for feature? :( Still, could be worse – see Sovereign Islands, QLD.

It’s big and roomy, it has all the bells and whistles, and it’s the worst decorated and the worst furnished – in short, the ugliest house I’ve ever seen on this site. I hope it sells quickly, and gets rescued by its new owner.
