A 30,000 square foot spec mansion in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles, CA has sold. The home was built by former film producer turned A-list spec home builder Nile Niami. It is located at the corner of South Mapleton Drive and Charing Cross Road and is situated on 1.38 acres. It has been dubbed The Fendi Casa because it is entirely furnished in Fendi furniture and accessories. It was a pocket listing and has reportedly been sold for “somewhat below” its $65 million asking price. It features 8 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bowling alley, as well as fully functional, basement-level dental offices and an operating room.

By “somewhat below”, I hope they mean “a little bit less than half”…

This is a HOT STANK MESS!!! 30,000 square feet? Where? I see maybe 15,000 to 20,000 square feet max. Also the lot looks weird. Where’s the tennis court? I wouldn’t buy a $65 million supposed mega mansion without a tennis court. Also it is surrounded by small homes. This is crap. Also the facade doesn’t look impressive. I want to see a very large imposing looking facade like Fleur Dy Lys or The Ecclestone Manor or whatever it is called these days. People paying that price want something to show off. They want something that looks huge in scale and impressive. When i first saw the front facade I just thought it was a regular 10,000 square foot home.
