Not my favorite home in LA, but I’d take it in a heat beat. That kitchen is obscene.

I love it, full stop. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Come on, you’re just not trying hard enough! I’ve already identified 2 chairs and 1 chandelier I’d want to modify… 🙂

      • Grrrowler

OK, you got me! I was in a hurry and scrolled through the pics quickly, and looking closer I see there are some things I’d want to change. However, I still generally really like it. 🙂

BTW, I see no mention of garaging anywhere in the listing. I can only hope that’s because they think it’s beneath them to mention such mundane details for such a ‘designer home’, because Paris or Israel is one thing, but surely nobody in LA would build a house without a garage?!?

This house is mediocre— price is insane.

Paul McCleans house around 8k sq.ft. across the street sold for $18-19m. Would would put this in mid $20’s. Paul McClean big manse, the redo of the former Ricardo M house on the crown sold for just under $39m and put this house to shame at 18k, better views, better lot, better house. This price is way pie in the sky.

It’s insane how high new construction contemporary views homes are trading but the 11k sq.ft. house on Laurel in BH that sold for $31.5 was on its own peninsula. This doesn’t compare with it.

The cooking area (it doesn’t even deserve to be called a kitchen) is dreadful.
And I don’t even know WHAT photo #12 is supposed to be!

This room had me puzzled at first, then I decided it must be the walk-in robe (which has a window according to the listing and indeed – there is a window)

Love this house and decor. Tired of all the Victorian tastes that seem to be synonymous with money. The only thing that would drive to distraction would be a fake fireplace beneath the TV.

I trust they would not have both going at the same time.

Like the gym and the front door. That’s about it.

I´m not very fond of contemporary/modern residential architecture but this house has something in its overall concept and built that makes me like it. It doesn´t exude that cold, almost clinical feeling that make lots of modern houses look like they can never be a ¨home¨… As for the price…38 million is too much for the whole thing.

    It’s Franklin’s house in GTA 5!… No?…okay.

    • carolina

Yeah, this is franklin’s house in GTA 5, i searched it online and this is the same house. this really cool, the only part i don’t like s that doesn’t have a big garage, where am i supposed to park all my ferraris and lamborghinis.
