What is going on with the ornamental exterior decoration on the west wing of the home? I can see good detail and craftsmanship on the moldings on the front exterior of the home and I adore a good glass skylight pyramid exposing the sub-floor, but I’ll pass. I’m not buying whatever it is that they are selling. That gross oppressive country can keep this $20 million unfinished pink elephant.

Terrible. For what would probably amount to the same as this, I’d much rather have this mini palace, located just outside of Warsaw:

That is most certainly a “mini-palace”. It is quite stunning.

From what I have “dug up”, the foyer of the home is supposedly almost identical to the foyer of another home designed by Andrzei Grzybowski. Anna Hinckfuss asked for the same design because she adored it so much after seeing it in the architect’s portfolio. If this is true, the interior of the home must be as gorgeous and tasteful as the exterior. http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii144/nickhinkle/Random%20Photos/161546.jpg

Awesome find! It seems Mr. Grzybowski is quite the accomplished architect. I also found another home in K.J. that he apparently designed. Beautiful home!

I’m 99.9% certain this is it in Streetview…damn shame this area isn’t availble in Birds-Eye view:

I don’t know how to post a link to Google view. but I think it’s where Waflowa Rd becomes Powsinska Rd, in Bielawa which is the next suburb up from Konstancin.
Just enter ‘waflowa bielawa poland’ in google maps and it should center very close to it.
EDIT: oops, I didn’t realise we were now talking about a different home, sorry 🙂

That’s so cool, and apparently owned by an Australian (Polish/Australian, I imagine) businesswoman, Anna Hinckfuss. I wonder how big it is! it would probably be worth serious amounts of money if it ever went on the market, given its proximity to Warsaw to the north and Konstancin, aka ‘Polish Beverly Hills’ to the south.

As for the mansion that is actually the subject of this entry… the less said, the better.

They are creative in giving the home a cameo appeal. It shall be nice to see this place, when it is completed.

Well it is Russian and oligarchy, I am more interested in the one off to the side of it, that looks like it has potential.
