This newly built Italianate villa is located in the Rose Garden Villas gated community in Shanghai, China. It was designed by renowned Richard Manion Architecture. It is a modern-day interpretation of the great Mediterranean Revival houses of Addison Mizner, Maurice Fatio and Marion Sims Wyeth in Palm Beach.

The front façade, with projecting wings, has a three-arched entrance veranda as its graceful centerpiece. Golden limestone adorns the elegant façades, which feature carved stone balustrades, accent scrolls, Italianate chimneys and a terra cotta tile roof.

The rear garden façade, with its dramatic U-shaped plan and projecting central bay, provides five loggias for extensive outdoor living verandas from major formal and family rooms.

The sophisticated interiors are modeled after the grand interiors of Palm Beach villas, including arcaded galleries with vaulted ceilings and marble floors, and a two-story entrance hall and living room with classical columns, detailed coffered ceilings and inlaid wood floors.
