Beautiful but not livable at all, at least not without some renovations.

Looking at the listing photos, the rooms appear to maintain much of their original integrity. The mouldings are all in tact and read continuous: so few alterations to the original interior have occurred. The floors and details are magnificent. Ceiling heights are impressive. The exterior is gorgeous.

Updating of all the mechanicals to current standards, along with conservation of all those fine and fancy details, will be nightmarish undertakings. Fingers crossed the new owner will return it to original splendor.
