It’s nice, but it just doesn’t excite me. The location is lovely, with the woods leading down to the lake. The exterior is quaint, although the back is somewhat foreboding. The interior is actually lovely, but it’s dull. Adding some personality to it will go a long way, since there are some nice touches. There are a couple of design elements I don’t like: the master bedroom doors will be visible from the front door; the kitchen is so big as to be impractical with the range too far away from the rest. Otherwise, it’ll make someone a lovely and (hopefully) comfortable, if not exciting, home.

I like the interior quite a bit. Exterior… not quite as much. Not much can be done about the building as such, but I suspect just putting a coat of paint on these walls would make a difference.

    Ok first off FLOORPLANS!!! Squeeee!

Have it say I like Floor plans more than the house itself 😛
If I had the chance I’d make some changes to the floor plans (smaller kitchen, better third floor, remove the stupid basketball court put in a pool, etc)
And build the place from scratch.

It has a lot of potential, and could be really comfortable I think 🙂

I love Lake Forest, not one of my favorite homes out there, but it is very nice.
