Here are a few more renderings of the proposed 62,000 square foot 4-floor mega mansion, dubbed the “Residence at River House”, in New York, NY that hit the market for a whopping $130 million in September. The new renderings are of the grand foyer, master suite and indoor tennis court.

Again, the floor plan is just too overwhelming. So many damn rooms! The sizes are incredible, but simply too big. Reminds me a bit of the preposterous rooms in that new Hadid mansion next to the Beverly Hills hotel. Honestly, what is the point of having a bathroom that can host a small fundraiser?

This makes me reaallllly wish I was a billionaire. I know this place is absolutely RIDICULOUS but still…

The room sizes don’t seem to have been designed with humans in mind; they’re just way too big. It’s sad that the renderings have managed to make the interior look exactly like every new-build in Hampstead, London (read: zero personality).

There is no point in spending that kind of money in NYC, you are gone all the time. 62,000 sq.ft or $130 million in pointless, pick which one is more pointless.
