    First response…

“Wow 10 acres in Florida? That must be a good deal!”
Then I saw that those 10 acres where in the middle of NOWHERE.
And THEN I saw those 10 acres looked like the grass had not been Watered in YEARS.

As for the house… Well, I don’t think its that bad.
I actually like the use of stone and marble floors and ceilings in places. Not OVERLY done like some residences. Also like the use of Dark rich woods that, are again not overly done.
Really like the outdoor patio with the enclosed Garden space, was rather a surprising difference.

Over all this gets a solid “Not bad” for a 10 acre. 13k sq feet pad at ‘just’ 5million.

First Miramar, now Homestead. Why are people building homes this size in cities like this? You will *never* get anywhere close to your fantasy asking prices…

It’s ridiculous. If they are going to build mansions in neighborhoods that aren’t set up to have mansions in them, then they need to live there forever and never have it on the market. It’s insanity.

The interior would make a perfect monastery.

Daniel, that is one of the most “real” statements I have ever seen for real estate.

Most “valuable” mansions are somewhere where people actually “want” to live. The only 2 things I think of when I think of Homestead, FL is the TV show Invasion, and the last race of the NASCAR circuit. In other words…

Most “purchase-worthy” estates are in big cities, where others with money can see them.
