Stunning location and views. that’s a Montecito beauty. Sadly, the interior is a bore.

Love it, though I don’t see 13K+ square feet.

I absolutely, completely, love it. The views, the location, the grounds, the detailing, the patina of age, the eclectic furnishings: it’s all perfect to me. If that weren’t enough, I don’t know how I could not love a house with a funicular.

The things I could do with that funicular. For Halloween I’d higher a midget and have him dress like Nick Nack. He’d go up and down the hill crooning “Bonnnnjjjjjjooooouuuuurrrrr” and throw candy at the little brats. RIP Herve Villechaize.

Wow, you are kind of sick and twisted. We should have a beer sometime! 🙂

There are several houses in Medina that have funiculars down to their lake pavilions. There are also a couple of houses with parking garages at the top of the hill, with the only way down to the house being the funicular. I think I’d get tired of having to ride the thing just to get home every day. http://binged.it/1c42B0L

I’m sorry to ask you Grrrowler for more information, but when you say Medina, which Medina are you referring to?

Medina, Washington (Bill Gates’ neighborhood). The link in my post above is to a house in the neighborhood.
