Desert Mediterranean homes never seem to turn out nicely in my opinion.

The house doesn’t excite me, but I do like the overall shape of it. It’s too bad that the front entrance is competing for attention with the garage doors, but I think the oval shape of the house with the pool in the upper “courtyard” is interesting. Unfortunately, the way the house is sited seems to give little privacy to the courtyard from the golf course; it would have made more sense to have the more open side of the courtyard face down the hill.

I love that round entrance way, it’s different and interesting, and they put it in the shadow of those ugly front garages. Why bother to have a standout entrance that doesn’t stand out? Everything is too beige, and i don’t just mean in color. It’s all very nice and incredibly boring.

LOVE IT—YOU CAN BLEND ANY COLORS WITH THIS GRANDE PERSONALITY!!! I must say, this mansion does have some South Western Native American touches.
