I want to like the exterior but it ends up looking too much like a factory. Interior feels dated and the low ceilings throughout don’t really match the style of the home – should be open and airy.

I kind of like the exterior. It does resemble a factory, but that’s somehow appealing to me. I’m sure I’ll get grief for mentioning it, but with 10 acres to work with, there’s no reason the garage doors have to face the front entry.

As for the interior, I agree with Daniel: the sense of openness from the rear walls of glass doesn’t carry over into the interior, and it should. Other than the central atrium/gallery, the ceilings feel lower than they should be.

One thing about this dilly of a hang out, is when you have a populated party, and too many people have had just a little bit too much to drink, there is a terrific swimming pool you can throw them in, just so they can become sober, and drink again. The owner would have to make sure they do have a change of clothes, so they do not catch cold.

This is one of the few mansions I really like. I like the floorplan and the openness. It’s open, while feeling cozy.
