This was actually Celine Dion’s former home. I like this a lot, much more than her Jupiter Island home. Gorgeous wood and marble throughout. Opulent, but not overdone.

Oh nice! Agreed on all aspects. I really like all the marble and wood used, especially those custom master closets!! Gorgeous! I would just change some of the outdated decor.

“Opulant, but not overdone” is a phrase that I never though would actually work. It is so SOOO easy to have “overdone” mansions, especially in Florida.

This one, it does it right! I was expecting Gilded Gold everywhere, and Faux French furniture and decorations dripping from every corner.

This is money well spent, a Mansion that looks as if it had REAL craftsman on it, not stuff made to “look” fancy, but real solid work behind it.
the stained glass, the tiled marble floors, the colors (yes COLOR! Not just bland pasty white everywhere) Blues and Greens and red. Simply wonderful.

As typical “Florida architecture goes, not bad at all.
That “tower” granting access to the sunning roof is an interesting idea…I’ve never seen that before.

Are we all looking at the same house?
Picture 1, although not a style of home I would ever select, is really quite nice. It ends there for me. Although, the closet in picture 13 (I assume it is the master bedroom, male closet) is very handsome, in a Biedermeier-esque way.
Since the general consensus is favorable on this home, I won’t waste any time trying to convince anyone of the decorative disaster I am seeing.

You don’t have to convince me. I agree that the front facade isn’t bad, but I don’t like anything else about it. Inside, the foyer would be the space I dislike the least, but the furnishings there are terrible. The rest of the house is tacky. It’s like they wanted to go over the top but didn’t know how.

Don’t. Everyone’s different and we’re all entitled to our own opinions.
