    Bestill my Curmudgeon heart!
    This property is Astounding!

Homes in New York always seem to have amazing and luxuriant gardens and grounds. But this property seems to go above and beyond, the trees, gardens and those views! Seeing the river below, that right there is worth a million or two!

The house itself is also lovely, I will say and this is very rare praise from me, but it looks modern but tasteful. SO often for modern interiors everythign is white, cold and sterile. But from what I can see the rooms ((for the most part)) are quite warm and comforting. There are one or two changes I would make, the wall paper in that one room simply MUST Go. But for the most part very VERY tasteful.

Ah another thing I like, the ‘Pool house’ is in fact not a ‘House’ Many seem to go over the top and turn a pool house into a gues house with kitchen, bedrooms, etc. A pool house should really be just a small quiet place to relax, and this one fits the bill quite nice.

House is a snooze, but the grounds are indeed lovely. Love photos 10 and 11.

It is not bad. The master bedroom and bathroom and the grounds are fantastic.

I really like it. It’s not a “knock your socks off” kind of house, but that’s what I like most about it. It looks like a place where people actually live, but it’s also tasteful and stylish at the same time. There are a couple of decorating changes I’d make, but that’s going to be the case in any house. The only thing I don’t like is that the garages face the front entrance.

Everything about it is fine. But there’s nothing about it I love.

However, unlike most other homes we’ve seen, there isn’t anything that I can point to and say “I hate that…that has to go…who thought of that…what the hell were they thinking…”

That in itself is a minor miracle so, ok.

Indeed. What I find remarkable this, is the fact that it is not gaudy, tacky or over the top inside. For me, its ‘Planeness’ is its charm. Grrowler I think said it best, it is a house where I can actually seeing myself living at, or see people living in general.
