The birds-eye view just does not flatter any of these. I know Judge Judy’s house is more attractive in person than it appears in the birds-eye pics. There are a few random pictures of the interior here: http://patrickganino.com/2012/11/painting-judge-judy-sheinlands-house-in-greenwich-ct/

Judy’s property would be so much nicer without that smaller home next door taking up room, they will probably just buy it and add land once it comes on the market. The second home has amazing land, probably one of the best non-waterfront parcels in Greenwich, but the house isn’t really my style. The New Canaan mansion is amazing and beautiful, the land is just ok though.. still love that house!

I passed by the NC house today, and it’s actually a very very nice piece of property. It’s not very big, but it beautifully designed and maintained.

Judge Judy’s mansion #1 was reportedly built in 4 months by a builder specializing in rapid, round-the-clock construction. Judge Judy was willing to pay a significant premium to cut 2 years off construction. I would do the same thing, in her circumstances.

Wow, that’s incredible. 4 months? I’ve seen McMansions put up in that amount of time but never an actual mansion. Do you know the name of the builder? I’d love to see what else he’s been able to do in a few months. Not a fan of Judge Judy’s house. Nothing wrong with it, just not my style.

        Hi Teddi,

I read an article on it so maybe an Internet search will dredge it up. The construction company owner lived personally on-site the whole time – the only way to get it done. Apparently this is his specialty.

Yes, thanks. I googled it after. found a lot of info. Apparently this is all the rage now. Lots of mansions going up in record time by these specialty builders having large, around the clock work crews. I know if I had the money that’s what I’d do. Have your house ready in 8 months instead of 30? Absolutely.

I’ve only been around 2 from scratch homes being built. Seems a lot of wasted time and issues arise from builders/contractors working on multiple projects at the same time. Having them working solely on your project would in and of itself cut out some of that time and aggravation. I think it’s a genius and long overdue idea.

Am I missing something on #3? It looks like it has only one 2-car garage?

Dunwoody, if you look at pic #2 you’ll see 4 garages to the left when you enter the motorcourt

Only a two car garage? One can only drive one car at a time. More unusual is your front door facing the little auxiliary house across the courtyard, but #3 it is still a great looking home. Judge Judy’s aint so bad either and like the extensive formal garden. No 2 has a strange little room with a pitched roof located over teh entrance portico that looks very strange as if a little house was dropped on the portico balcony.

Who am I kidding, I could adjust and be happy in any of them.

Nevermind. I found it. Pretty incredible. From the banana comment, sounds like Judge Judy doesn’t want to take her remaining years for granted or assume she’ll have more, she wants to enjoy herself now. Can’t argue with that. I’m impressed with a builder who is this organized and focused.
