Multi-level marketing scam/scheme. I do believe that there are still arrest warrants for DeVos and VanAndel in Canada and they can never enter Canada. The details are fuzzy, it has been a long time now.

Very ignorant comment considering the company has been certified by the Canadian government for several decades now. Plus- the company works directly with hundreds of retailers including Apple and Microsoft, so maybe we should ask their lawyers to hit you up because obviously you found out something about this scam that they didn’t. I’m not affiliated with them by any means, but moronic comments like these are a clear view into your life…

Both need to bulldoze those indoor tennis courts…they stick out like a sore thumb. I think I like the second one more, but it’s kind of hard to tell with the crappy quality of BEV.

I really like No.2, quite a few stairs to get down to the ent centre so from ground level it may not be too bad. You’re all class Mak!!

Second one looks like it could be pretty nice. First one makes me cringe because I can’t think of anywhere a “Mediterranean style” home would fit in less than Michigan, with the exception of Canada perhaps.
I really like how the pond comes right up to the terrace and house in the nicer one. And I agree with you about 50% Daniel. Although, it seems that the indoor court of the second home does not stick out much at ground level given its placement in the spot farthest from the main home. It appears as though the foliage and terrain would make it appear far less visible than it appears on the birds eye view. The one on the first house would have to go, as if the red/orange roof wouldn’t make the house stick out enough in a Michigan winter with no leaves and some snow. Although it seems that one may be a semi-outdoor tennis court that gets covered with one of those bubble type tents in the winter? Never mind, clearly I didn’t see the outdoor tennis court as well. It doesn’t make sense to me at all now. Why not just build an indoor one? How much use do you really get out of an outdoor tennis court in Grand Rapids anyway? Surely an indoor one with glass/retractable roof and sliding doors would provide the same effect?

In addition it appears as though they couldn’t have made worse use of that lot when choosing where to place the first home. The amount of space wasted with driveway is astounding. They must own a considerable amount of the surrounding wooded areas, or Grand Rapids as no rules regarding what percent of the lot is allowed to be covered. Most towns call this the ” lot coverage ratio or something.” Because between all the driveway, the footprint of the home, the pools , patios, tennis courts, etc, I would imagine it causes quite a problem with stormwater/melting snow runoff in the area around it.

They own Grand Rapids, they could put multicolor toadstool houses with giant ferris wheels and roller coasters and water parks in the backyard and no one would say or do anything.
