Mansion #3 – Pictures #9-12 – This mansion is located on Vista Moraga Drive in Los Angeles, CA. It is owned by Shu Chin Kou, who is President of The Hotel Huntington Beach.

Mansion #4 – Pictures #13-16 – This contemporary mansion is located on Moraga Lane in Los Angeles, CA. It is owned by Joan Borinstein, who is the daughter of the late Pearl Alex Borinstein and Manuel A. Borinstein, the donors of Manuel A Borinstein Progressive Cardiac Care Center at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Hospital. Joan owns parking garages in downtown Los Angeles.

    #2, if I’m not mistaken is a Richard Landry design. I sauntered into the house about three years ago when I was last in LA. I promise that “NO TRESPASSING” sign was not up when I walked in. Or I didn’t notice and no one asked me to leave. It was quite lovely for a Landry design- not overwrought or obscenely large like some of his other behemoths.

    I just don’t get the appeal of spending tens of millions on a huge mansion on no land, in a massively congested city with no views of lakes, mountains or oceans and tons of neighbors around you, and maybe I never will.
