I like it. There’s nothing groundbreaking about it, but it’s an attractive, and comfortable-looking, contemporary. It looks like a contemporary house that can actually be lived in.

This house is great. As Grrrowler said, it’s liveable but still contemporary. I believe this is another McClean design house. He is the guy who did over the $25.5 m house on Sarbonne that sold last year as well as the $38m house on the Crown of the Bird Streets the Walmart heiress is said to have bought. Has there ever been any real confirmation? I know she bought the other two houses on the crown, but did she also buy that one for REAL? Not rumors.

It could certainly be a McClean house. The Bird Streets house (where Ricardo Montalban’s house used to be) is abso-freaking-lutely beautiful: http://www.mccleandesign.com/en/projects?id=57

I don’t believe Sybil Robson Orr bought that house, but I’m not completely sure. The ownership records for the former Montalban property show a different owner than the other two properties on the crown but my info may be out of date, so YMMV.

Not a fan of contemporary. Most end up coming across as sterile, lacking in warmth and/or charm. This one is no exception, though it is warmer than most. The exterior is fascinating. Wonderful lines and flow.

Pretty neat home. Wish it had a skyline view though…
