This has some real potential. I like the stone work and the carriageway leading to the motorcourt is attractive. The layout isn’t bad either. The fact that it’s surrounded by wooded areas is great, although the nearby water towers could spoil the view.

Is it me or does that floorplan seem very basic?

I definitely love the style!!! The architecture must have been created by a group of romantics and charmers. I would paint the various sections of the exterior with yellow, orange, red, blue, and gold colors. The various parts of the roof, I would have the various roofs in burgundy and violet colors.

Me too! I just LOOOOVEEE country french. I love the french parts of this place because they are SOOOO french! Just like REAL FRENCH people would build when they would build a french country place! It’s sooo like, a french place that it is just dying to have some french people hanging out inside. Could you imagine that? FRENCH FRENCH FRENCH!

This is surprisingly tasteful so far. Still plenty of time to make a mess of things, but so far so good. Hopefully the interior will be done to the same standard as the exterior. The only things that irk me about the plans are that they don’t include the kitchen layout, and the Family Room seems kind of isolated…I like when the kitchen area is open to the family room. Having the master bedroom share a wall, however short it is, with a secondary bedroom is also a no-no. Not bad though, overall.

Where’s the kitchen, solarium and conservatory? They aren’t marked on the plans.

What is the difference between and office and a study? Why does the first floor have both and the second floor have two studies, and a lounge? Aren’t they really all the same thing? I guess more is better, even though its the same thing.
