Wow!! I live about 25 minutes from that area. Maybe, I will stop by and take a closer look inside.

From afar, this is quite lovely. However, the front has some very peculiar details, almost as if they took 3 or 4 different homes designs and picked up some details from each one. For example, take the copper roof, plus the ivy, plus the various stone, plus the balconies, plus the section of the roof that goes down to the 1st floor, plus the varying window designs and it all seems haphazard to me. The rear is more successful. Interior looks like it needs a freshening.

I’ll start by saying the grounds look beautiful. I love how the house is set way back from the road and that there are lots of trees on the property. Two 60 foot boat slips don’t hurt either.

The house itself: it’s not my favorite, but it’s not bad. I like the interior more than the exterior and it looks like the interior could be quite nice with some updating. The exterior looks better closer up (picture 3) than it does from any distance (picture 2). The front facade resembles a generic design from a magazine of floor plans. Adding more ivy would actually help the place.
