This newly built Italianate style gated mansion is located at 5880 SW 94th Street in Pinecrest, FL and is situated on 0.8 acres of land. It features a modern interior with approximately 10,768 square feet of living space. There are 8 bedrooms, 8 full and 2 half bathrooms, 2-story foyer with sweeping staircase, white marble floors throughout, formal living room with 3 sets of arched French doors leading to covered patio, formal dining room, gourmet kitchen, home office, laundry room, elevator, family room, 4-car garage, swimming pool with spa and a cabana with summer kitchen.

The exterior is beautiful; I’ve always loved Italian-inspired architecture. A lof of homes in Florida seem to have Italian/Mediterranean exteriors with Contemporary/Modern interiors; definitely a big contrast. I would have loved a bit more traditional interior with warmer colors.

Definitely in the bottom with my least favorites.

Yeah, pretty lifeless. These stark white interiors in almost ALL new Miami homes, regardless of exterior style, is starting to get boring.

I like the exterior. I think it’s attractive but I do think the stark white could be a bit much in the bright light of day. As for the white interior, with the furniture removed it would make a great operating suite. I actually like some of the furniture, but I don’t like it in this house, and I don’t like it combined with some of the other furniture.

A note to the decorator — Chrome and glass accents should be just that: accents.

Yeah, it’s all a bit too white and too sterile, but I still prefer it to those overly frilly and fussy interiors of that recent Robb’s Report home of the year… there’s got to be a happy medium somewhere!
