Happy Valentine’s Day Homes of the Rich readers. Out of all of the great estates across the world, which one do you absolutely LOVE?! I, as you already know, am in LOVE with the Stone Mansion. I think it is an incredible masterpiece of a home and is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out! Tell us the home that you love and why!

As they say home is where the heart is. It is our responsibility to make our homes and not the politicians. Keep those builders building and we will decide for ourselves what we shall eat and what we shall drink, and don’t let the taxes eat us out of our house and homes.
Not sure what you mean by “make our homes”
What the hell are you yapping on about?
Nice house, but it need at minimum ten more acres.
La Reverie, La Follia, Il Palmetto, Eastover, Montsorrel, Villa Delfino, Le Pavillon. <3
Where are Villa Delfino and Le Pavillon?
Both are in Palm Beach, next to each other. Le Pavillon is Paul Desmarais’ home.
Villa Delfino: 1574 S. Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach FL
Le Pavillon: 1600 S. Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach FL

Bridges, Marsh, & Associates also helped with the renovation of Il Palmetto – pics are on their site.
The mansion I absolutely love more than anything is the Crespi/Hicks Estate in Dallas. With a few slight modifications, the house could be 100% perfect!
i agree with you on the house, but i don’t think it needs ant major modifications, just paint and maybe flooring changes. its one of my favorite houses!
I meant add a gatehouse, redo the tennis court, redo the exterior of the second guest house, and maybe throw in the dancing fountains from the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book for the lake.
I’d completely gut and redo the entire foyer of the Crespi/Hicks estate. It has really cheap moldings and cheap quality.
That foyer looks like they did some cheap faux paint and then put some cheap cookie cutter square moldings that look like Joe Gorga quality. The moldings in a house like this shouldn’t be some cheap squares and rectangles placed on a faux painted wall. That entire foyer should be custom carved and paneled floor to ceiling in custom carved wood moldings made of very thick custom carved wood. Not some thin flimsly cheap wood moldings that look like they came from Home Depot.
Casa Apava in Palm Beach.
32,830 sq ft home on 11 acres with absolutely gorgeous grounds, 2 pools, a 3 story tower, tennis court, plenty of privacy.
How could this not be a contender for most desirable house in the country?
11 acres on ocean/Intracoastal but hardly gorgeous. The home actually looks mildly abandoned from the street. Desperately needs a total renovation. And the home is clearly visible from the road.
My dream house is La Fiorentina on Cap Ferrat. It’s simply stunningly beautiful. That said, there are too many houses I love to come up with a short list: Casa Nana and Il Palmetto in Palm Beach, the Crespi Estate in Dallas, Villa Amanzi in Phuket, the Kirkeby Estate in Bel Air, Villa Hugo in Barbados, Greystone in Beverly Hills (even though it’s no longer a private house)…I love all of them.
+1 for La Fiorentina. Also add Villa Leopolda, as obnoxious as it is.
Sotto Ill Monté in Montecito. CA. It’s a gorgeous Italian Villa in Montecito.
Here are beautiful picturer of the Il Palmetto estate.
